BOY ON SKUNK CANNABIS BUTCHERS FRIEND TO DEATH

A 20 - year- old boy Lamin Marong who was crazed by high strength cannabis butchered one Hamidu Gassama to death in Bundung on Thursday 22nd.

Lamin Marong, a native of Baddibu Alkali Kunda in the North Bank Region. The alleged killer happened to plunged the knife into Hamidu's chest.

Hamidu who could not prevent the knife from lamin went through his chest, penetrating a lung and his heart causing massive internal bleeding.

In a week before the murder there were several confrontation between lamin and Hamidu over cannabis payment. 

It was said' Laminn gave some cannabis to Hamidu to sell and after selling it lamin in turn asked for the money from Hamidu, which Hamidu insisted not to pay and even asked lamin to do anything he could".

during the confrontation threats were made. "It becomes important to both lamin and Hamidu not to be seen losing face". 

Deputy police PRO Foday Conta said "the incident occurs on Thursday between the hours of 5-6pm local time, when the case was reported to the Bundung police station". "It was reported lamin was on the run, while Hamidu's body was escorted and rushed to the EFSTH in Banjul".

After a thorough search of lamin by police he was found hiding in the garden of Radville's farm in Sukuta Nema on Friday the 23th.

He was subsequently arrested and now helping the police on their investigation said the deputy police PRO Foday Conta.
